Geminos deep dives in new technologies to understand how secure they can be. The output is a level of confidence in the security of the technology based on what the technology is using, how proven the security is, and how easy it is to use without breaking security assumptions.
Technology report
It is interesting to understand new trends in cryptography and know whether it has a bright future or not. Many technologies in the past died before being usable and others are now thrilling. For example, lattices, zk-SNARKs, quantum computers, IO obfuscation, isogenies, pairings, elliptic curves, McElliece encryption, ... were all at some point in their history THE technology to adopt.
From an outsider's point of view, it is very hard to understand what the chances are of one to live and others to die. At Geminos we cannot predict the future; however, we can summarize, identify the risks, the strengths, the weaknesses, and the ease of commercial usage of such technologies.
With our experience, we can give overviews and argument intuitions on technologies, which give an educated view for deciders to decide.
